The 5th Annual Tee Off for Dogs Golf Tournament was held on Sunday, May BannerTOFD 3 2009 at Coyote Hills Golf Club was a fun and barking success. Our gross amount exceeded $27,000 with proceeds going to the Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB), three Orange County puppy raiser groups and Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB). We had 99 golfers, 40 working dogs and puppies, 36 volunteers, lots of food, lots of licks and tons of laughs!!

During this event, we had for the first time in our annual event a blind man hole contest. This hole (a par 3) was in honor of those who attempt to play golf and are visually impaired. This was a way for participants to have a feel and realize how to swing when blindfolded.
